Abraham Lincoln once said, "Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be."

New Year's Eve is here! :D

How has 2008 been for you?

It's been a big year for me - possibly the biggest in my life so far. But then again, that could be the same every year - each one bigger than the next!

Before I toss out my desk calendar for recycling, I shall "immortalise" everything I consider "milestones" in my life this year, right on this blog. :) Hopefully I will look back here someday and know that I've learnt a lot from all the little experiences that make up a lifetime.

Resolutions for 2009:

  • Live a healthy lifestyle - eat in moderation and exercise at least 3 times a week.
  • Sleep earlier, for goodness' sake. 0100 hours is the latest bedtime!
  • Accordingly, wake up earlier. The day does not begin at noon. >.<
  • Be less materialistic. Neither clothes, accessories, nor cosmetics make up a person.
  • Get my priorities straight.
  • Integrate volunteer or charity work into my permanent lifestyle.
  • Learn to drive to more destinations alone.
  • Make conscious effort to keep up with "world news"
  • Be positive, always! :) See the sunny side of things.
Finally, before I go:

Just a few pics from New Year's Eve celebratory lunch at the cafeteria today. :) There are more pictures but they're not with me now, hehe.

Presenting ... our "fake IDs" to get into New Year's parties.

LOL! Nah, none of us are under-age (except maybe for me, if the minimum age is 21), and none of us have illegal underground parties to attend - so we'll use our TESCO Club Cards instead!
