Just a quick post before calling it a day! :)

So, today was Open Day at Monash University, Sunway campus.

As I dragged myself out of peaceful slumber at 7.45am, I had to ask myself - why, oh, why, had I volunteered the daylight of a precious Saturday to be a Happy Helper Student Helper for my beloved School of A.S.S. (Arts & Social Sciences)?

To keep that winning smile on my face, I managed to figure out 4 unquashable reasons:

Reason #1
Monash pays us RM40 a piece (and we received the cash at the end of the day! Wow! I've never received such quick payment before - props to Mei Sie! :D). Breakfast, lunch, and tea were also fully provided for. Plus free parking all day!

Reason #2
We each got a very cool badge that said "i: Monash University". :D Hahahaha. It reminded me of the "i" that Draco Malfoy and his lackies got under Umbridge's regime in Harry Potter. But as it turns out, the "i" on our badges just stand for "Information". Hahahaha - but I am determined to tell everyone it stands for "Intelligence" or "Imagination". Coolest badge ever, man! Haha!

Reason #3

If those first 2 reasons haven't won you over already, this third reason is the simple one of meeting more people! :) A cool bunch of fellow coursemates and administrative staff that I might otherwise never meet!

Reason #4
7 hours of undisturbed facetime with Photobooth (when there are no visitors in the Journalism Lab, of course, hehehe)? XD Can practise our - well, my - OTT expressions!
