Piaget was a really important dude in developmental psychology.
He had this theory that infants develop through 4 stages, first starting with sensorimotor capabilities (e.g. kicking their feet), eventually putting thought into operation.
Like Piaget's theory that there are stages of development, I have a theory that taste - whether for food, companions or fashion - goes through several stages of development as well.
No-one is more surprised than I am that I am now interested in plaids and sequins.
