EURGH.
Pile on the self-pity!
My cough+flu+sorethroat has morphed into a runny nose. :(
Gah. I can't stand being sick much longer!
MustrecovermustrecovermustrecovermustrecoverMUST.
Even if that works, I still wouldn't be the first person in the history of humanity to psyche him/herself into the "state of wellness" as we understand to be the norm.
I wanna be an energizer bunny again!
Not only is my immune system crashing into a dismal 4-car-pile-up, Blogger won't upload photos and the midterm break is too effing short.
Exams commence in a little over 3 weeks.
Contemporary TV Studies take-home test from 6th-13th October.
I just got an extension from Chin Huat for my Feature Writing's third and final assignment. But see, even though I took his suggestion to get an extension just in case, the new deadline falls on the day of my Communications exam.
So, really, if you think about it, it's actually an Extlusion.
(Extension DELUSION).
In consideration of Malati's newfound interest in online shopping, these are where I got my new (awesome! LOL) outfits from:
But normally http://ashopaholicsden.blogspot.com is the place people go to check updates. :)
And I love FOS. Gosh. Who doesn't, right? :P
~
Anywho. Runny nose and online shopping aside, today was spent cooped up in the J-Lab (just a makeshift "cool" name for Journalism Lab, ahahaha) with Shah, the instructor for our gleeful 2-day Podcasting Workshop, and the following amusing characters:
Abeer, Hadiya, Angeline, Malati, Chin Huat, Kevin, Cynthia, Vasantha, & Renga.
We were seriously too cool for school.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH.
What happened to the TWENTY people who signed up for the workshop, right?
Where were Shaza, Ai, Eu Jean, Rave, Lau, and a bunch of other incriminating names?
Probably at home, sleeping in!
How I wish I could do the same...
BUT
I'm so glad I went.
(and still am going tomorrow).
Coz it's cool to meet someone as FUNNAY as Shah.
And it's cool to get to know the School of ASS staff better.
It's definitely cool to see a side of them I would NEVER otherwise get to see (I will never, ever forget Kevin Tan's podcast!! ROFLMAO).
It's also cool to hang out with classmates I don't usually get to hang out with.
It's MIGHTY cool to learn how to make our own PODCASTS and use the MAC computers.
And it's a nerdy sort of cool to have your Feature Writing lecturer in the same room for hours and hours for you to annoy him about which topic you should do for your final assignment.
It's also a very cool thing to do to appreciate the instructor's effort in going through all the painstaking MAC baby steps. I mean, how would you feel if only one or two (or no-one) showed up for your class? And I think he's also fasting. Coz I think he's Malay.
Tis cool tis cool tis coooooooool.
Am meeting up with An Nie after the workshop tomorrow for a spree at Pee-rah-meed.
Then dinner with Leila.
Then MUSTGETBETTERANDDOMYWORK.
Terrified. Praying. Must be strong!
