Sometimes I feel like a hamster.

Handed in my first Marketing assignment today - my first real experience in the Business Wing of Monash.

I have an indulging little habit of bringing home my favourite food or things my mother likes, and it can be random things - like a cup of latte, or McDonald's apple pie, or the sambal from the cafeteria's nasi lemak stall. And then I accumulate all the various little food items in a corner of the kitchen table ... and grin to myself for having amassed such a collection of things we like :P

It reminds me of the time (about two years ago) when An Nie and I went on a "food spree" in 1-Utama. Boy, those were the days! :D We ordered takeaway apple pies from McDonald's, cinnamon rolls from Cinnabon, Zinger Burgers from KFC, and then settled down to eat chicken, peri fries and coleslaw in Nando's. We were so stuffed by the end of the day that we could barely move, and yet we had so much fun because we had all our favourite foods on one table! LOL!

So, back to today. I brought my LOMO camera out with me (the one from Kawaii Store) to start taking sample pictures for my review :) All the photos in this blog post were taken with the LOMO, except the last two pics (which I took with my cellphone's camera).

I really don't like this bridge very much... sometimes the wind blows and I feel its foundations shudder.

Anyway, today was my attempt at going on a shopping spree with Santushi today - because of all the Mega Sales going on! I had a "hit list" that I repeatedly listed out to Sushi: Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Cotton On, Kitschen and Forever21. They were on sale, I had to go check it out!

After going through over 20 stores, you know what I bought?
NOTHING!

I know. The fact disturbs me more than it intrigues you. My growing ability to resist temptation is rapidly diluting my knack for retail therapy.

Lunch at Secret Recipe, which looks like the House of Horrors in this pic! :P
I used a wide-angle/macro lens for this, thus the tunnel vision.

For this, I used a Fish Eye lens - but I should take other pictures to show the effect better.

A final note - I don't know what the heck happened, but this was the scene in front of the campus parking for a few hours today:

I took this photo when there was nobody there. But earlier, there was a girl on her cellphone, a burly security guard, and another boy.

P.S: My friends and I have been doing "If I were skinny..." discussions, so this is what I would wear if I were skinny! :D

Cream-coloured high-waisted shorts with floral tank top. Yum!

Hey Christine, you're right! It's definitely the same car - whoa, I didn't know it was Ming! Glad she's okay... didn't realise the roads in front of the Monash parking were dangerous Until Now! :(
