I love, love, LOVE getting stuff I love for reasonable prices.
A perfect place to do that was at the Absolute Bazaar today! :D

Shopping + Great Bargains + Great Friends =
GREAT WAY TO SPEND A SATURDAY! :)

Befriended some shop owners, but only was shameless enough around Ablinc's Michelle Lim to take a photo with her! :D HEEEhehe.
I love the bag she sold to me, seriously LOVE it. My friends love it too.

I also love the fact that I got it for RM58 when she's actually selling it for RM72 (and another blogshop is selling it for RM80). The cost-price of the bag is actually about RM50+. I LOVE THE BAG. It's my new schoolbag - because I've been hunting high and low for a decently-priced bag that can be used as a shoulder-handbag and a slingbag, is strong enough to carry relatively heavy things and looks good! :DDD
I also love how big it is. I love big bags.
Small bags just make me look even bigger. -_-"
And look who else was there!! Among several old friends and ex-SMKDJians who were at the Bazaar (Joaquim, Pei Kee, Yen Ming, another-girl-whose-name-I-can't-remember), were Kye Li and Edwina - they were running the Clothes Bucket booth! :) Shaza bought a maxi dress from them for RM46 (original price RM48) and I got one of their rocking-horse necklaces (in baby blue) for RM14 (original price RM15) - mainly because I've been looking for a long, bubble-beaded black necklace for weeks. Hahaha - so, yay!!
Also bumped into Serene (Ming Choi) from law school, hehe! And met up with Malati, another one of my favourite Monashians! :D

I helped her buy a book by Jon Stewart called "AMERICA" from Big Bookshop Warehouse - only RM15! Hardcover, very funny, and retailing in UK for 14.99 pounds sterling. Only in the book paradise of Big Bookshop Warehouse does 15 UK pounds translate into 15 Malaysian ringgit! Hahaha!
At about 1.30pm, about 2 hours after we started shopping, we felt so tired (the bazaar was crowded and kind of stuffy, even though it was air-conditioned) that we took a break from shopping and had lunch at A&W (right next to the bazaar, located in the 3K Inn Hotel).
Then we split at ice-cream waffle between the 3 of us. :D
Oh my goodness, even the picture is making my stomach growl.. I literally haven't eaten anything all day except a biscuit for a rushed breakfast (I was late. My friends had to wait for me in my living room. As usual. Haha.) and a little over a quarter of that waffle... Will get some dinner after finishing this blog entry! Haha.

Shaza is SO prettyyyy. Hehe. I know she'll totally blush if she's reading this, but if I ever need like a model for a magazine cover or book cover, I'll definitely ask her! :D Don't you think she looks like VANESSA ANNE HUDGENS from High School Musical? :DDDD

Shaz keeps calling me "2008 girl" because I'm so obsessed with this shirt (see the following picture for how obsessed she is with her new maxi dress!! HAHA), but I have soooo many good reasons for wanting a shirt to commemorate 2008! So much has happened this year - the shittiest things, the most depressing things, the funniest things, the bravest things, the happiest things - I just feel like I've really *lived* 2008 more than I've truly lived any other year. :)
So I'd like to wear the shirt (even in 2009 and later years!) to remind myself about 2008. :)
See my reasons are so DEEP!! Hahaha. On the other hand, this is Shaza dancing in my garden in her brand-new (unwashed) dress, pointing and laughing at my rabbit. :D
Don't worry, be happy, go shopping! :)
Have a good weekend and coming week!! :D
