"Life isn't a matter of milestones but of moments." -Rose F.Kennedy, American author & JFK's mum

Ah, milestones!

Sat and completed my first assessment for this semester - an international studies Map Quiz. :) I am proud to say that I now (finally!) know where Vietnam, Japan, North Korea, England, Germany, France, Poland, Israel, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ghana, U.S., Cuba, Soviet Union (now Russia) and China all are on the world map. :D

Ya, ya, I know most of you probably already knew, but I didn't know *all* of the 21 countries I mentioned, so it's a good learning experience for me. :)

A flurry of advertisement bookings came into my Gmail inbox for Your Shopping Kaki. So here I am, 46 days after the birth of the review blog, with advertisers booked as far as July next year. :) And the reassurance that advertorials (sponsored write-ups) are in demand as well, except that I've declined to accept any more advertorial bookings for now. I've still got 3 pending ones that are meant to be published within the next 2-3 weeks, after all! :/

As for now, I'm swimming in assignments and their tidy deadlines. While very much looking forward to Friday's Ho Qing Yun adventure with M! ;) My sacrifice is not going to the much-anticipated 3K Inn bazaar. I'll survive. Haha. :P

Made a serious attempt at trying to win a free bag from high-end bag specialists Alice Wonders - but at 2pm (the release time of the "white rabbit", which contestants are supposed to "hunt" for on their website), the website refused to load on my computer! And when it finally did load, it was ridiculously slow - and then my brain was ridiculously slow as well, because I totally ignored the very obvious clue Alice sent us. -_-" And as luck would have it... I was half an hour too late. :/ Ho hum.

Anyway, you have a good week & weekend ahead! :)

PS: Blogger's layout page is still throwing a hissy fit at me, and not working from my home computer. I've resorted to editing Your Shopping Kaki on the campus computers. :I
