Two articles and half a concluding chapter away from finishing the first draft of my thesis. Naturally, I can't help daydreaming about the things I want to do after my thesis is edited and handed in... I can't wait to be done with it! To keep myself motivated to finish it, I thought about the things I wanna/need to do after:
1. Apply to the grad schools. Including all those admissions essays I needa do!
2. Buy a ukulele. Learn to play a ukulele by myself! Yes, no music classes! YouTube, Google, and bugging friends/neighbours shall be my learning method! Also, Datin & Mich will probably learn it with me. :D Fun! I like how it's one of those portable instruments that I can bring to the U.S. with me. Trying to find one for between RM50-RM100, been surveying online for local ukulele prices and they seem to be around RM120 for a soprano ukulele. Gonna check out the music store at Paradigm Mall to try them out first. :3 Just in case I hate it. Haha.
3. Be a tutor! Got hired by Monash University as Media Studies tutor for Semester 1, 2013 starting March 4th. :D But need to go look for another tutoring job for January and February, probably at a language center or something! Wish I could tutor TOEFL test prep. :3 That would be mighty cool.
4. Storyboard and actualise Datin's DIY-Wedding video and photoshoot.
5. Self-learn to use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Adobe Premier Pro. Become digitally adequate and slowly become awesome!
6. LOSE WEIGHT. Omg. Thesis poundage has really hit my dress size hard.
(Obviously I'm at something between a hippo and the Start Weight... and if I reached the "Current Weight" in that picture above I would be totally happy enough already, lolol!)
7. Fix my skin complexion. -.- It's annoying how I suddenly have an acne infestation on my right cheek. Fixing it slowly with facials and skincare. :(
8. Learn to make simple, fun meals. So that I don't die of starvation in the U.S.!
Ok that's more than enough stuff to do in the next few months before I bid Malaysia farewell. :D
P.S: I wanna eat pavlova cake so bad (which kinda goes against #6 but... whatever! I deserve a birthday cake!).
P.P.S: And I want a floral crown but I'm too cheap to buy one, so making Datin make me one. Hahhaaha. Another thing I want but too stingy to buy: a big poofy long-tailed bow tie necklace. Cos I wanna wear it out and people stare at that instead of my giant rear end. Note-to-self: ask Mummy to make me one. :D Also... gotta remember to follow-up on the Your Shopping Kaki group portraits I'm getting done for some blog publicity work.

You're so cool! I don't believe I have read through
anything like that before. So great to discover somebody
with a few original thoughts on this issue.
Seriously.. many thanks for starting this up. This website is something that is needed on the web,
someone with a little originality!
