"What looks like a loss may be the very event which is subsequently responsible for helping to produce the major achievement of your life." -Blotnick

Oh my goodness.

Now I can devote my entire weekend to FTV1010's Major Essay. I am resolved to sacrifice watching "Love & Beauty" at KLPac. Why? Because my assignment is worth a whopping 50%! T.T

I now have Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to write the 2300-word essay. I pray that it's enough time!! :)

Now I also know that I am indeed capable of completing a 1600 word essay in 13 hours. :D Although it wasn't fun. I think my backside's grown a backside from being chained to my chair from 9am to 10pm. But it wasn't even 1/1000th as scary as, say, when I was trying to prepare for second-year law exams in 2 weeks. :D

So, eventhough it has crazy deadlines and crazier workloads, I love my School of ASS. :)

Why? Because, to quote Carrie Underwood's "I'll Stand By You", "I've seen the dark side too"!

Hahahahaha.

Feeling that wonderful sense of accomplishment now that I've finished my INT1020 Major Essay. :) Ask me anything about free trade and its effect on poverty and human rights! I'm glad I learned from this assignment. :D

And right now, I'm clearly learning something about globalisation and health, because I've become some sort of Santa's little helper for my friends' assignments. :0 Hahaha. But it's okay, folks, I'll help you if I like you! :)

On a more sour note... I had to pay for parking the other day.

I hate not getting my FFTD (Freebie For The Day)! :(

I freaking KNOW there was still space at the far end of the parking lot, but NoOoooOO, some power-crazed man had to stand at the boomgate like an Along and scowl at me until my puny little Myvi putted away. :( The nice guards were all smiling apologetically, because the power-crazed man wasn't supposed to be at the boomgate lah. He's supposed to be somewhere else.

So I had to do a pathetic 7-point turn of sorts, and make my way to the RM2 carpark like a defeated aluminium soldier. :(

And then... I parked badly. HAHA. That was funny, though. My own poor parking skills made me laugh. Hahahaha.

I only realised it after I got out -- reverse parking is definitely not my forte, but I am insistent on practising at every opportunity. It's a challenge, man. LOL! Just that, it's pretty darn difficult! Haha. For me, lah. I know you all very pro-lah. Hahaha.

Besides a wholly Assignment-devoted public holiday (thank goodness for the public holiday, otherwise seriously cannot finish on time!), my wish to write another piece in MonGa has been fulfilled by my very own Monash fairy, Jacqui Kong. :D By a pure stroke of luck, I have hereby been assigned to write a story with another girl (cool! get to work with a total stranger! new experience, can't wait haha) - and I don't think I'm at liberty to divulge what the next issue is about, so... don't worry, I'll take photos of it when it comes out. Hahahahahaha. Yes, I'm that lame! :D :D :D

The MonGa article deadline is Friday, 26th September though. Very short notice, but I think the real world of journalism works on an even tighter deadline, no? Anyway, I'll only be able to start that after I finish my FTV1010 major essay (which is due on Monday, 22nd September). :)

A big thank you to Jacqui for giving me this opportunity! :D

Have a good weekend, everyone! :) Life is too short to be unhappy, remember that!
